2023 Good Food Award Finalists Announced

Austin and Central Texas purveyors make a strong showing

On Monday, the Good Food Foundation announced the 513 finalists for its national Good Food Awards. Among those 513 finalists are seven Austin-area food and drink purveyors, standing out from among nearly 2,000 submissions in 18 categories.

The Austin-area finalists include:

2023 marks the thirteenth year of the Good Food Awards, established by the Good Food Foundation to celebrate and support “the growers, ranchers, makers and merchants stubbornly swimming upstream to create and share the kind of food we all want to eat: tasty, authentic and responsible.”

Winners will be announced on April 21 at the Good Food Awards ceremony in Portland, Ore. In 2022, Casero (charcuterie), Madhu Chocolate (chocolate), and Shār Snacks (snacks) all took home Good Food gongs.
