This Week on The Austin Chronicle Show: Mike Clark-Madison on the City Budget and Rock Photographer Martha Grenon

Why you should care about how the city spends your money

This week on The Austin Chronicle Show, News Editor Mike Clark-Madison breaks down the city’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2020, including how much it’ll cost Austin taxpayers, and what kind of bang they’ll get for their buck.

In the second half of the program, I speak with Martha Grenon, one of the most prolific rock photographers in Austin in the Eighties and Nineties. SouthPop (aka South Austin Museum of Pop Culture) currently has on exhibit “Shoot Like a GRRRL,” a retrospective of Grenon’s music photography. Check out more of Grenon’s photography at her website.
